My Mum lovingly stitched the above beautiful tapestry for over 12 months, rather special, as I bought it for her during their visit to France together, many many years ago.

Spring is well on it's way here in Crete...So many wattle trees still in flower....being an Australian native tree, makes one wonder when they came to be planted here in Crete, and by whom?
As usual on Sunday, a very enjoyable walk to the beach with Bruno...and as usual 'left over' bread for the ducks and geese, who live with other bird life in a pretty pond just back off the beach. In this wet land area, there exists a source, from where an extremely clear, cold, clean, fast running stream runs into the sea....interesting!
Then, as usual, followed by a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice at our favourite café built on the rocks, practically hanging over the crisp turquoise water..... with views to die for!
