some fantastic matches so far, ESPECIALLY when Australia beat England 33 -13 recently. We never imagined that they could win, as the English team is really so strong at the moment....but....!!
This weekend will be full on, as the impressive fit Australian team play Wales on Saturday. Then on Sunday, France must beat Ireland to continue on in the championship......on verra?
However, back to our sailing...after Despotico we enjoyed a few days in Astipalaia, with a final 'au revoir' to Barb and Con en route to Cyprus for winter.
Unfortunately, there, I received news that my step father had been admitted to hospital, serious issue ... therefore, we decided to sail directly to Crete with a good 'weather window' before strong southerlies arrive. At the moment we are anchored off Elounda in the Spinalonga Lagoon. End October, Bruno will then settle into the marina at Agios Nikolaos for our wintering.
After many phone calls to Australia, I rapidly organized flights, and leave here on Sunday, arriving in Cairns on Tuesday......my Mum is a very worried lady, but thankfully, being well looked after in the Nursing Home.... she is so relieved and happy that I am on my way!
C'est la vie.....
