'Pacific Pearl' is actually securely anchored in the south west bay, Ormos Plastira, sitting out Force 7+ southerlies, which will then turn to strong westerlies, before becoming strong northerlies In a few days. We have loads of space to swing, as only 3 yachts at anchor, plus a huge smart 140 metre 'gin palace' further out. The small marina here though looks to be 100% full...
So convenient, this huge Naoussa Bay, as many different anchoring possibilities depending on the wind direction. Certainly no swimming...water is only 16.4 degrees even in only 5 metres. Brrrrr!
Therefore plenty of time for reading, which we love...PLUS I just adore my Kindle, with a tempting huge choice of books to buy!!
This morning I bought the latest release from our bubbly clever Australian friend Rosemary Peterswald .
"Can my Pony come too?" Can't wait to read it!
Check out http://ballynastraghbooks.com.au ...so many other great books to peruse.
As one says "reading is dreaming with your eyes open!"
Thankfully, we have excellent internet connection which I need to Skype Australia every day, as my dear Mum is back in hospital, yet again. I am of course following her progress very closely...worrying.
Bruno is, as usual, cooking up some mouth watering meals...I am one lucky lady!
