Galatas, is the complete opposite to Poros...sleepy, dusty, not at all touristy, but has an amazing 'alibaba' hardware shop run by an extremely helpful young lady, English speaking of course. How on earth can she find anything in that bazaar, but she does....bravo!
There used to be a Lidl supermarket, but no longer unfortunately.
The sea water temperature here is now hovering around the 23-24 degrees, really quite acceptable, but I do prefer over 25! However, I am swimming every day, just love it!
Now to entice Bruno into swimming mode also.
The French Top 14 Rugby competition is reaching the quarter finals, so lots to watch over the next few weekends.

As I write, it is actually raining, decent rain....wonderful to wash down our boats, especially the mast and rigging.
A strong Meltemi will be howling down through the Cyclade Islands tomorrow, but we will be well protected here thankfully, maybe only force 5/6 instead of force 7/8!
